About:The oldest still-operating tavern in Buffalo, this downtown drinking establishment located outside Allentown got its start in 1868. Offering traditional German good cheer, food, service and beer, the tavern is popular with regulars and out-of-towners. The menu includes many German-American favorites such as potato pancakes, wiener schnitzel, and German sausage platters. The tavern operates a restaurant and a bar, with separate hours for each.

    A splendid establishment in all respects and a piece of history integral to this great city. For those looking for a place that looks and smells like it's been around as long as Ulrich's has, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for the suburban chain eatery experience, this is not your venue.

    Buffalo's oldest bar: This place has great food and good prices. The owner is a great guy and a great host. This place has great history.

    Love that German food: As a former resident of Germany, I love to go to Ulrichs when I get nostalgic for schnitzel and Spaten. Everyone there is friendly and the prices are great. Come visit me in BFLO and I will take you to Ulrichs
