    My personal favorite bar in Buffalo. Perfect place to go on a weeknight; small but quality tap selection, fair priced food, and Mike the owner and usual bartender is the best. Father's has a great casual feel and nice mixed crowd...from the older set to groups of college kids. Perfect place for the lawyer set as well; several times I've been there during UB Law outings.

    Fouding Father's 'Resaturant' just might qualify as the smallest kitchen in Buffalo if there were a contest. However for the items they prepare, it works just fine.

    This building used to be a livery stable about 100 years ago, and the antique charm is visible everywhere. If you look closely, you can still see the iron rings on the exterior walls used to secure the horses. Obviously the theme here is Presidents of the United States, from the placemats to the wall to wall presidential items.

    There is a popcorn machine in the corner (help yourself) and on Friday's and Happy Hours, there is complimentary nachos with chili and cheese sauce. The food is mostly comprised of sandwiches, I recommend the fried bologna, any of their chicken sandwches, or a burger.

    This is a great place to gather after work, or before an event. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the beer is cold and plentiful.

    PS- After your sandwich and a few pints, when you're ready to exit the bar onto Edward. . . go slowly! Because the sidewalk there is narrow and one step too many and you'll be standing in traffic.
