Thank You Payless for repairing my laptop so fast. I needed to travel to Texas for a conference and could not attend without my laptop and the information it had on it. Other shops and our IT dept. said it would be a few days and I was in a major bind. One of my nurses recommended Payless and boy am I glad she did! When I explained my situation to Joe he said "no problem, I will look at it today". By 6PM I had it back in full working condition and it has worked well ever since. Payless repairs repaired in one day what my IT department said would take a few days. Hats off to them!

I cracked my LCD screen for my hp pavilion dv6t from accidentally closing the lid on my headphones, and I didn't know what to do to get it repaired ASAP. I called HP, but their price was far more expensive and (for me) had rude customer service. I found this site on google while looking for my next resort, and thankfully, it helped. You could either use one of their recycles screens or buy a screen and bring it in for them to fix. I ordered the screen from amazon because it's safer and far more familiar than ebay. The screen wasn't cheap, and service wasn't cheap either. But hey! That's business. I walked from south campus of UB to bring my laptop in for a repair, But instead of walking all the way there, he was actually nice enough to come and pick it up halfway! And boy was I tired. He was pretty nice and friendly; had way better customer service and better telephone service than HP. It was faster too! He didn't even take long to change everything! By the time I was almost back at campus, which was approximately a 25-35 minutes walk, he was already done. He even suggested to bring it back to me! How nice of him! Not only did I get it back soon enough for my paper, but it's almost brand new. Kind of...it's not visible, but I still feel the scar from breaking my laptop. Better than nothing when you need it the most though. He was really helpful and nice, and I would like to say thank you for helping me change the laptop screen! (It's better to have someone else, who knows what they are doing, fix it better than doing it yourself if you know that it will be your first time. What happens if you accidentally mess up?!
