Searching for directions I stumbled on these reviews. A bit nervous after reading previous review. We were pleasantly surprised with the selection and price. After visiting two previous stores they had the stools in stock. We had a party that Sat and our stools look great. We were very happy to find. Annmarie - Amherst
My husband and I ordered a gathering table with ten chairs from Chairs and Tables. We were asked to pay in full prior to placing the order. We paid by check $1,335.45 on September 29, 2009. When we went to pick up our new set, we noticed the first six chairs were dinged, scratched and loose. None were in a box - they were just stacked up in a storage unit in the back of their shop. At that point, we asked to be refunded. Jim, the manager (I think) was very polite and explained this has never happened before and asked if we would allow him to make good on the order and bring us a set our home. We again, aksed to be refunded. He and another store employee, Connie, agreed to refund our money by mail. I have a signed document stating a check in the amount of $1,335.45 would be in the mail on Thursday, October 8, 2009. Today is Tueday, October 13, 2009 and we've called Jim twice to inquire about our refund. He now states he needs to check with his accountant. He hasn't even made a single effort to send our refund. Next step, BBB, Channel 2 News and our lawyer. Buyer beware!
Wonderful Selection!: When you first pull into the parking lot to chairs and tables it looks like a small store with very little selection. But boy was i wrong it had two floors packed with variety of beatiful chairs and tables.And the Prices were wonderful! If your looking for a nice set that wont hurt your pocket book theres the place to go.
