I am an INDIAN FOOD SNOB!!! I have lived in different cities across Canada and the US and this restaurant is a pearl in a sea full of mashed up, creamed down, non-spicy Indian food MULCH. This restaurant sets the BAR on how Indian food should taste. It is a perfect level of spicy (and you can request it spicier - which is awesome). It is full of flavor. It tastes healthy and authentic. I am a big fan of the pickle, and was surprised to see that they make it fresh here (not from a can that travels across the world). It is delicious!!!! I don't think I will ever eat the canned stuff again! This is a place I will definitely miss when we move away from Buffalo. Oh - did I mention great price, trendy location, and clean environment too!!?
One of my favorite restaurants in buffalo. It's very classy inside and perfect for a nice relaxing date for an affordable price. Everything I have tried has been excellent, I also went to the buffet once and it was also delicious. Everything is so fresh tasting, and the service is always excellent
This restaurant has to be the top Indian restaurant in Buffalo. Everything is always cooked to perfection and the spices are incredible. The dishes have so much flavor that a single bite must be savored for several minutes in order to capture all of the layers of flavor present. The waiters are very attentive and kind as well. I have eaten at several other local Indian restaurants and there simply is no match to India Gate. If you are new to Indian food, try this restaurant first!
