Let me just say this, In my opinion my faith was very weak almost to the point of walking away from it thanks to a former member of the clergy. I was ready to say the heck with it all and become very callous and cold until a Sister at the hospital took a few moments of time with my friend who was diagnosed with cancer of the colon. The Doctors at the hospital were just ever so wondeful! They took the time to explain and go into detail and give me hope that my friend G would pull through this. And pull through this he did in ACES! Dr F I must say thank you to you and all the staff there who have been MORE than supportive It has been a very traumatic time for me just seeing G go through this awful mess with cancer. I was told that the problem was caught in time and there was a couple of small spots that can be treated with chemo therapy. I broke down and cried when I was told the good news. ST Jospeh Hospital THANK YOU!! You took and answered my prayers. My faith is once again on the road to good stuff.
I apoogized for the delay in writing this review. I was admitted on September 8, 2007 after loosing partial vision in my left eye. The care from the ER Nurse (Rose), the on call doctor, to the Admission floor was excellent. I found out later that it was the promptness of the ER doctor to make the right diagnosis in giving me the iv to resolve the clot in my eye. My intentions was to go home and lie down, but thank God for my son("D") who is on staff at St. Joseph who encourage me to come in. Dr. Carlson was most effecient in ordering the necessary tests. I am currently in Alabama for the Winter. I am so thankful for all the staff and sevices. The food was even good.
Again thanks, God bless and may you each have a prosperous New Year.
