User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHorrid. You have to call 24 hours in advance for a trip to the store because it does not run regularly. It takes forever even to make a short trip because of the long drawn out route and the long, long wait to get a bus back. You could walk to your destination faster. A cursory bus service at best. No trips to nearby towns or if they do go, it's once a day with no way back or a six hour layover. Whoever designed this bus system must have been stoned out of their mind. Even the worst, slowest bus line in Rochester or Buffalo is not this bad. This takes the cake. I don't know how they stay in business. If you don't have a car in this town, you are trapped. What is a 10 minute trip in a car could be two hours with this bus. This town needs a real bus line with buses that run regularly and go out of town.

This bus serivce is really terrible. It's not reliable at all. The bus drivers will skip stops and sections of an entire route if they are running late to make up on "time"(Their time, that is. Because their inconsistantcy costs you your precious time). But,on the other down-side, if the buses are not running late, then they are running early(which sounds good, but is actually worse).If the bus is running early....the bus driver may wait a few minutes and then leave before the scheduled departure time, leaving you either running after the bus(even though you are technically right on time) or waiting at the bus stop wondering where the heck the stupid bus is(again,even though you were technically right on time, but the bus came and went before it was supposed to and didn't bother to notify its patrons) I sound bitter, because I have a job that requires punctuality! Needless to say,I no longer use their bus service.

No Schedual,
Price is doubled of other state wide transit services,
must call with in 24hrs of pickup,
no regular bus route,
they dont even visit their bus stops,
5-6 hours pickup wait,
This service really needs a make-over!

This town does have a bus line that has been here for many, many years. Way before OTS tried to do things here, which was a waste of taxpayers money!! It is the CATS buses...Community Action Transportation Service. 589-7700 Daily schedules that you call in & make an pick up time, door to door service...not a route schedule that you have to go to & much more...Goes out of town with medical Medicaid clients also.
