Needed a power cord for my new dryer. Instead of going to Home Depot and paying ~$15, I stopped at this place along the way. They had a pile of cords for $16, but I dug to the bottom of the pile and found one that had an old price sticker for $9. So I'm not complaining.

Their prices may be higher usually, but at least I'm not dealing with some moron at HD who has no idea of what they sell and only take up space.

I have heard people complain that Debbies Supply prices are high . For those that do not understand that buying in bulk reduces the price of the item sometimes fifty percent . Debbies Supply is the ONLY Debbies Supply in the USA . When Home Depot or the other large firm stores order items for stock , they are ordering for not just one store but probably 200 stores . Debbies orders stock of items to fill 1 or part of one shelf in the store . That is why they have items that the others don't carry . Also people need to know the proper terminoligy of the item the are looking for . Expecting the store clerk to know what " That thingy under the sink that keeps it from leaking " is not gonna happen . I have been shopping at Debbies Supply for about 20 years and i like to keep the local money LOCAL . I have also found that the staff at Debbies have a vast knowledge of not just one field or aspect of the store items but they know how to use the item they are selling to a customer . On a personal note to the customer that was looking for a vavle stem for his sink an was told by the clerk " This is part of the carburator of your car " Really needs to get a sense of humor an not believe the clerk was serious .

So I decide I will go to Debbies hardware supply in East Rochester to stimulate the local economy and "think out of the box stores". I gave them a simple storm window replacement job. When I recieved the item fixed the side were visably bowed-in 1/2" (evidence of a poor cutting job). When I put the storm window in the window frame the bowing on each side actually left an open space to the outside!

I know they will fix it but it says alot about the service area to let that pass QA.
