Why is it so busy? For 7.99 we reeived a child size cheeseburg which in 3 bites it was gone. The waitresses just seemed to be not care. Never asked how the food was- never came back for refill on coffee- bad service- very pricy for child size portions.. The soup was also in a child size bowl. Why do people come here while there are bigger restaurants nearby with larger portions and lower prices?Maybe the breakfasts are better? Stay away from the lunches if you are hungry- You will leave hungry.
I've been there twice with a friend and really liked it. Their food is very good and I especially loved their bread pudding (but they only make one pan of it each day, so you need to call ahead & reserve a piece). The owners are a husband-and-wife team; he's one of the cooks and she's one of the servers. Lots of regulars eat there and it has a "diner" atmosphere. It's right off the (I-90) Thruway and a much better alternative than any of the nearby "chain" restaurants.
