I have been to Emile's twice. Flawless. Not cheap, but they won't break you. They even grow some of their own spices in a garden in the back. The soup, the salad, the entree, and the dessert were all nonpareil. Service excellent. You will not regret a trip here.
I had seen Emile's advertised in many of the tourist info books & websites. So I thought I would give them a try for dinner. I had the filet mignon with crab & asparagus. I ordered it medium well, it came to me well done. I opted to give it a try & not send it back. I've had strip steak that was more tender & a better cut that their filet. The salad bar consists of lettuce, spinich, cucumbers,& maybe 3 or 4 other toppings. Then there was 2 or 3 other types of salads;bean & macarroni. On a positive note, the service was great, the waitress was very friendly & answered all my questions, since it was my first time there. I would give them another try, but I'll go for their specialty, prime rib, next time.
The Best: We frequent Emiles every few months and are never disappointed, the food is always GREAT , the service is always super. Be careful ordering a pre-dinner Martini it comes in a HUGE glass! The Fillet Mignon is some of the best cuts in the Finger Lakes, even thought they are famous for the Prime Rib!
