User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsVery nice, simple cuisine at affordable prices. A strong German feeling in the dining areas is the perfect setting to this above average restaurant. One of the smallest in LeRoy, but as far as I'm concerned it out performs the others. Great food, great service. This place has it spot on for the area. Unlike it's larger local competitors, the quality of food far surpasses the pricetag.

I've driven by for years: I've driven by this restaurant for years, but never stopped. It's located in a restored train depot on Lake Street. The building is beautiful. I love the old architecture and character of these buildings. The atmosphere inside is so homey and relaxing. Our server was wonderful, and the hostess reminds me of my aunt. The food here is definately homemade! I ordered the stuffed meatload and it was awesome. Every dinner comes with a roll, muffin and scone, along with salad. My partner had the liver - she liked it - just not for me. We actually went to the Depot for my birthday, and when the hostess found out - the server brought over a cupcake and took our picture - so that was cool. I think the Depot is one of those hidden treasures thats always been around that we take for granted.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsD&R Depot - A great restaurant for granparents: If you're over 60 you love this place. If you're under 50 it just doesn't cut it. The baked goods are way overpriced. I can't stand the people at the next table being so close I can feel them breathing on me.
