good, average food. great service. friendly staff. a nice place to go for a quick meal.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsNot what it used to be: We've been dining at Gus' for some time now and always enjoyed the food, the dinner service was always just so-so, but we liked the friday night dinner specials so much that we overlooked the flaw. Our last few visits have proved to be bad experiences. The breakfast food was overly priced, the homefries tasteless and other foods served cold. So, other than the morning waitress's Nancy and Sue being very polite and attentive, we would consider it to have been otherwise a complete disaster. We may give it one more try, but $8.95 for a special omelette seems ridiculous in this quaint country setting. At least at Denny's you know what to expect!
