Great food, the chef does a great job with the menu. You can sit in the dining room to enjoy a special occasion or it's a good place to enjoy a casual night out with some friends. It's also one of the few places with a patio you can enjoy in the summer time. I would definitly recommend it!!
GRILL RESTURANT: A beautiful luxury hotel with a great resturant. Only one waiter at the Grill named Quann wanted me to pay for my meal before it even came....VERY RUDE, but the rest of the staff is great.
won't go back: We booked a studio with two beds. When we put the key in the door, it was a regular room, with one bed. We called to complain and were told that a reservation does not guarantee the room or how many beds we would have. Huh? Apparently, they could do nothing about it so they would send up a sleeper sofa which turned out to be a roll-a-way fit for a child. The front desk employees were very unaccomdating. They should have fixed this. The room next door, which had a door in our room, was empty; we should have been given that room. I have emailed the hotel manager, twice and written a letter. I have not heard from anyone. On the upside of this stay, the valet staff were great. We needed a ride to the Blue Cross Arena and they were very accomadating and friendly. Also, the Grill, the restaurant at the hotel, was an excellent place to eat. The food was wonderful and the staff was the best. So, if you go to Rochester, don't sleep at this hotel....but eating at the Grill would be well worth it.
