Having done business with the former Skip's on Eat Henrietta Rd, and also more recently at Fairport, I decided to stop by the Goodman St. store today.... been a while since I had been up that way (used to work in that area around 1990). After reading the previous review, I was eager to check this place out, and found the selection and service to be top shelf.

I walked in there planning to pick up a couple of steaks for dinner, but left with four steaks, 10# of ground chuck (on special), and some of the hot sausage. The steaks are almost ready to hit the grill, the ground chuck will be put away in the freezer for later (divided into some extra bags they provided), and the sausage will go into some of my mother's homemade tomato sauce.

The prices were very good, and the service was excellent; I will be going back there, despite the place being almost 90 miles from home. When I am doing other business in the Rochester area, this will be on my list of "required" stops.

This is the best meat market. Joey is super nice and takes very good care of people. The prices are great. The neighborhood is not the best but you will have no problems during the daytime.

The steaks are great and their homemade Italian Sausage is amazing! Joe even specially made me a a few pounds of nearly fat free Italian sausage one time when I was on a diet!
