User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI went to this restaurant last night 45 minutes before closing time after hearing about it from friends that it was a decent place. I was disappointed with the service. The waitress kept coming over to our table every 5 minutes asking us if we were done with what we were eating. At one point, she even pulled my friend's bowl with half of what she was eating left over. This happened right in front of my eyes when my friend was talking to me at the table. The food was decent, but the service was an absolute disappointment. I might have visited this restaurant again, but have decided not to after experiencing this kind of treatment.

We have been coming to Golden Dynasty restaurant for lunches for quite a many Saturdays. We always find Ho, the new owner, to be cheerful, and ready to serve/up a good meal. We love his friendliness and sense of humor, and the food is always tasty and nutritious. In fact, The Cousins enjoy this place so much that we frequently have 6 to 8 of us at the huge table, and it is a wonderful get together for all. Ho knows us all by our individual characteristics and likes on the menu, and we hope to be back at the new Rochester Golden Dynasty Restaurant often.

Your typical American version of real Chinese food. Exhibits little if any resemblance to anything I have ever found in China or Taiwan, with the exception of some of the so-called "dim sum." You can make better soup at home by buying some of the better packaged soups at one of the local Asian grocery stores, and adding whatever you like.
