User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsTruely a great family restaurant. Great selection of wraps and melts. I enjoy their chicken and Greek dishes. Dinners are generous portions and homemade. My family enjoys it and we've become weekly customers. We only dine out at restaurants where staff is polite and dining area is clean...both which were at the Acropolis. I hope they can open another on the east side of town!

Nice place: Finally we found a true family diner (yeah)! Waitress and staff are pleasant and service w/ a smile. Strongly recommend the marinated chicken or their broiled seafood. Great breakfast specials on the weekends (different stuff each weekend). I take the family 3-4 times a week and havenât had any problems. Owners always on premise and greet customers like family. Too bad more restaurants donât follow. Trust me, take the trip and spend your money on a restaurant that places food experience as a priority.

Great family restaurant: I write for the D&C Food section and strongly disagree w/ the opinion stated below. The Acropolis has over three decades of food service experience and have consistently proven their loyalty and brand recognition to Rochester. Their owners are the most generous people youâll meet on a daily basis. I have brought food critics from NYC and Boston to the Acropolis. They were impressed with their home style Greek dishes and desserts. If youâre looking for good food that has merit, your best bet is to visit the Acropolis. Donât waste your valuable time listening to an angry competitorâs comments below. Spoiled meat? Hardly a reality. The diner is a perfect cozy size for family dining. Other restaurants in the area are old and need some decorating tips with small menus. Being in the food industry for 40 years, donât listen to peopleâs opinions when theyâre hiding behind a wall. Be your own judge and enjoy the experience!
