I went up with an internet ad, test drove the car, and was happy till we started talking numbers. We discovered that I couldn't afford the price they wanted, so they tried to work with me on a different car. However, they couldn't understand the price I wanted to pay and kept trying to push me to buy a more expensive car and to do financing through them even though my credit is horrible. The manager and the one salesman I worked with were pushy and rude. The salesman tried to convince my friend (who was with me) to help me finance my car... meaning to help me by being a co-signer or helping to put down money for me. One of the worst experiences ever... and they kept calling after I told them I didn't want the car (or any car from them). They even put through paper work for a car loan for me that I didn't even ask for. I got a surprising call from a loan person and had to explain to her that I wasn't even buying the car, so the loan was a waste of time. Like I said, they are pushy and rude, and they don't understand what you say when you want to pay a certain price. They just keep pushing vehicles at you, expecting you to finance. Not everyone wants to finance a car!
They were great: The sales team at Irondequoit Suzuki are great. They made me feel at home and made my purchase very stress free. I had a price I wanted to pay in my head and the were even lower than that. I have recommended them to family and friends who have been just as satisfied as me and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a car without the usual headaches that go with it. Mr. Right
