User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been eating at Randy's for years, and I have literally never had a bad experience. When family or friends visit from out of town, I always take them to Randy's for a comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices, local flavor, and delicious food. It's both a great place to go out and have a drink on a Saturday night AND a place I feel comfortable taking my kids - it's a wonderful local treasure.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsRandy's Up the River has amazingly great food. I would highly recommend their jumbo wings! (which btw was voted best wings in the Twin Tiers by Mix 101.5) They're also known for their Fish Fry's on Fridays, Steak specials on Thursday nights, & Crab legs on Tuesday nights. I eat there all the time and I absolutely love EVERYTHING on their menu! I personally get along with all of the staff, I enjoy the casual atmosphere, and the fact that I can watch literally any football game available now that they have the NFL package on High Definition! If you're a Bills fan you should definitely go root with other fans down at Randy's! This is BY FAR my favorite restaraunt period!!!!!!

The food is ok but you have to wait forever to eat. We sometimes order ahead like half an hour and it's never ready when we get there.

As hard as it might be to believe, there are lots of other people doing the exact same thing. Too many people tend to forget that when Randy's is in it's peak hours: the dining room is full, the take-out orders are going back to the kitchen twice as fast, and meanwhile other people are still waiting to sit down & order as well. If it wasn't for Randy keeping his prices extremly reasonable & always using the best quality ingredients - there wouldn't be such a demand. This said... Randy's motto is, "Fast food isn't good, and good food isn't fast". Please keep this in mind. I know for a fact that all of the staff is working as fast as they can to keep up with the high demand.
