    Fantastic gourmet treat!: Dined at MacDuffs for our 6th anniversary while visiting the Chautauqua area from central Ohio. Charmed by the extensive gourmet verbal menu, the heady selection of single malt scotches, the fanastic quality of our meal, and the intimate, ambient environment.

    My meal: crayfish etoufee en croute, mixed green salad with house vingarette; and rack of lamb served with a creamy mint sauce (hollandaise-style) and roasted vegetables.

    His meal: Shrimp with herb pesto; mixed green salad with house vingarette; poached salmon with roasted vegetables.

    Dessert: While the offering of homemade orange ice cream with bittersweet chocolate was tempting, we opted to share a warm lavendar-flavored creme brulee that was heavenly.

    Total cost of the meal (with tip) was about $130.

    This meal was a definite highlight of our vacation and we would especially consider staying in the adjacent B&B.
