    There are no longer many restaurants that are truly "down home". Cuba, NY is fortunate to have one--The Copper Keg. Walk in some morning and you will hear the buzz of conversation and notice a couple of long tables of "locals" who meet there every morning. A group of mostly semiretired men enjoying their coffee and solving the world's problems. If something exciting, or not, happens in our town, they know! Pick a table or a booth in the back and let Jan serve your coffee. If you don't enjoy her sense of humor, it's your fault. Order breakfast or half a breakfast (really) and have it your way!! If you are looking for modern, super quick impersonal service there's the golden arches down the road. For the flavor of small town America and good food hit the Copper Keg in Cuba.
