Buffalo gets the namesake for the best wings in the USA, but it pales in comparison when it comes to this best kept secret in Western New York. Larry's is a little bar with a neighborhood crowd and one could easily blink and miss it. But trust me when I say "THERE ARE NO BETTER WINGS IN THESE UNITED STATES." I am from Baltimore and have tried almost every wing from the Wing Dome in Seattle to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo. Nobody is even close. Big John fries then grills his gigantic, crispy cajun (and many others) wings to perfection. Some of my very best friends are from Westfield(Hi Lance, Al, Don!) and they will tell you that the specifics of Big John's preparation and sauces are a well-guarded secret. Which is surprising given how tiny this town is. But who cares; do yourself a favor and RUN DON'T WALK to Westfield New York and get these wings. You'll be glad you did. Oh Yeah, after your wings, stop in the Tap Room for some pool...or pop in Calarko's and roll the bones.....it's all in walking distance....believe me.
