User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFriendly staff, easy parking...I'm a New York City transplant and as with all down-staters, we think that the Big Apple has the best pizza anywhere east of Chicago. After complaining to a friend that I couldn't find a good slice of pie anywhere "up here", a friend turned me on to ICO!!! The perfect balance of cheese, sauce & crust!! Oh yeah- they serve hands-down, the LARGEST slices anywhere as well. A++ recommendation

Italian Carry Out in Ithaca is a good place to order food for pickup but not really to eat in. The seating area is small but does not need to be any larger for their purposes. The pizza is sometimes dry compared to the chain pizza places but the toppings are of better quality. I usually order a large chicken wing pizza and have not had any problems. The salads are large and of high quality. One issue they have is the amount of business, because of their proximity to the local university orders can take anywher from 30 minutes to an hour no matter how small. When students are away they become overwhelmed with locals.
The staff are very friendly and the wide array of food offered only increases the quality of the restaurant. I would suggest ICO to anyone who wants quality food at reasonable prices.
The only large problem is the inconsistency with their hours of operation. On more than one occasion I have called and was told they were closed on Sundays but then driven by and seen the lit "open" sign. Besides this ICO offers something for everyone who want classic American/Italian take out. -

ICO Best Pizza in Ithaca: ICO makes THE best pizza in town....not to mention all of the rest of their selections! Chix Parm - superb! Cheesesteak - delish!
Salads and veggies - so fresh and locally grown! I can almost guarantee you a superb meal every time!
