WE LOVE SAVARD's. It's not a trip to the Glen if we haven't gone there at least once. It's not the fanciest resturant. But the food is consistant and a good bang for your buck. You'll walk away stuffed on good homestyle food. Nothing fancy but good tummy warming food. The wait is never long for your meal or even to get a table, though sometimes it may look long. It's a great place for family and friends. Savards ROCKS!

There's a resturant down the street, much fancier, we've been going to the Glen for 20 years, several times we've tried to get into that resturant to no avail. Savard's ALWAYS has a table for us, even after a long night for the staff. They welcome you...ALWAYS.

If you're going to the Glen, stop in you won't regret it.

A nice family atmosphere, on the main street. It is close to the area attractions and the food is very good. Country style restaurant. I recommend it for breakfast and a quick lunch.

We have been going to Savards for years. We live in PA, and they have the best breakfast in the northeast! And I work in a restaurant as well! We are going to Watkins Glen next week, and we are looking forward to going there! Lynn is our favorite, but the other girls are great too. But the food is great. They are the only place that knows what eggs over medium well are. But the homefries and sausage are delicious as well. I've never walked away from there hungry, or dissatified either.
As for the politics, I don't know about that, but I find it hard to believe.
Rick, the owner, is a very nice man as well. They have a fantastic business there, and I highly recommend it. Kudos for a great place to eat and relax. Also, the waitresses are very helpful for information on local events and amusements.
Good Work Savards!!!!!
