User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBrunch brunch brunch. Everyone always forgets about Carriage House dinner! Every entree is thoughtful and delicious, and the chefs incorporate a lot of local ingredients. The tuna, when they have it, is so perfect and so correctly done you have to take tiny bites so you don't get overloaded and explode with the goodness right there in the restaurant. Also, the coffee bar is excellent. They use the same Gimme! coffee as everyone else in Ithaca, but somehow it tastes better at the CH. It breaks my poor college student bank but it's worth it every time.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest place in collegetown: There are two good lunch places in Ithaca - Carriage House and the Banfi restaurant at the Statler hotel. For a weekend brunch, Carriage House is your only good choice. Great food, but a bit small portions (esp. for brunch).

A real Gem: The carriage house is probably the warmest, most inviting places in the Ithaca area. It has great food, and a cozy atmosphere. The ambiance is nice, and very friendly, helpful waitstaff.
