User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDon't go here! We had a large party and no one was happy with their meal. Not only was the quality of the food poor but so was the attitude of the server. I actually think it was one of the owners. The lack of professionalism was obvious - it was as if they could care less about us and if we ever came back. I used to be in the restaurant business, so maybe I am a little more picky than most but I can say with confidence that you will not enjoy Alexander's in Ambridge. You are supposed to make your patrons feel welcome - we were almost made to feel like we were bothering them. I think they were annoyed by our large party. Again, the food was not up to par for a place that is supposed to offer fine dining...there was nothing fine about Alexander's. Oh - and the place smelled funny too - not clean!!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHonestly, do yourself a favor, avoid headaches and frustration and don't even drive past this place. I could write a laundry list of things that went bad on our anniversary dinner. What a mistake!! We were basically insulted, the employees yelled - yes yelled at my kids. This place is a zoo. The owners were arguing, the servers were off in la-la land, they could care less about their customers. I have absolutely no idea how they are in business. When the food finally arrived, there was nothing outstanding about it - no flavor, no pizazz. The worst part were the owners, the arguing, yelling and pure lack of professionalism will keep us out of there forever. A real shame!

We will never go back: We had the absolute worst experience at Alexander's - what a shame. The service was probably the worst I have ever encountered. We had a large party and there was a problem with almost all of our meals. The staff didn't even try to make things better or expain in any way - let alone apologize. These people think they have the best place in town and they are way off. This was supposed to be a nice celebration and it was ruined thanks to the lack of effort of the staff and the beyond horrible food.
I would never recommend this place to anyone - I would say if you are considering stopping there...RUN!!! There has to be someplace better in Ambridge...try McDonalds.

I agree 100%!I see we are not the only ones who think this place is the pits! What baffles me is how on earth they are still in business?
