Memories!!: Takes you back to being a kid . . . lying on a blanket under the stars with the goodies all around you. Nothing like being under the stars and catching a movie. This is history . . not many drive-ins exist in the US anymore!

Summer Movie Fun Under the Stars: Me and my kids try to go here at least once during summer vacation. For both families or couples, it's a nice alternative to being stuck in a seat in a crowded theater. You can lay a blanket on the ground, stretch out and snack on goodies brought from home w/out fear of annoying your neighbor or getting in their way. You can even snuggle and/or chat and no one throws popcorn at you! :)
Getting there early is a plus so you can find a good parking/viewing place and if you have kids there is a playground in front of the screen w/swings, a slide, a merry-go-round and see-saws along with a large grassy area for tossing a ball or frisbee.
Dislikes. If you have an SUV or minivan you are definitely going to be in the back which means you will not be able to have a center view of the screen unless you are in the last few rows.
The bathrooms are small and usually smoke filled which if you aren't a smoker can be a prob. They do have speakers that you can hook to your car but I've found more often than not they don't work so if you want to hear the movies be prepared to either use your car stereo or bring a boombox with a good antenna.
The snack bar is...well I was going to say small but on second though it is better than what was available the last time I went to Cinemark. They actually have hot snacks like hamburgers and hot dogs and hot pretzels along w/frozen candy bars, pop, coffee, popcorn and fries. So, pardon me for putting snack bar in my dislikes paragraph because it really is a plus.
Overall, Kane Road is a nice place to spend a laid back evening out with friends and family and you don't have to fuss with dressing up!
