I USED TO LOVE HING WONG'S FOOD, BUT THE LAST 3 TIMES I HAVE GONE THE WHITE SAUCE THAT IS USED FOR THE MOO GOO GAI PAN HAS BEEN VERY THIN, ALMOST LIKE CHICKEN BROTH. NOT THICK LIKE IT SHOULD BE. I HAVE QUIT GOING HERE.

This is THE best take out Chinese restaurant within five miles of New Kensington. I live in New Kensington and I drive to Cheswick to go to Hing Wong's. Their lunch menu (up until 3:00pm) is great and easy on the wallet. Gen Tso's is much better than China Lobster and if you ask for mild they really do make it mild. Pineapple chicken is tasty and fried rice is the best around. You can stand there and watch them cook your food....it's ready in minutes. Their shrimp isn't as overcooked as the other places either. It actually tastes like shrimp, too. Since East Lake closed...this is the only Chinese we order. Forget abouyt those places in Lower Burrell. One of them (won't say which) recycles lunch buffet leftovers to dinner and has been cited for not keeping food hot enough....and they have roaches. I know the person that sprays chemicals all over the floors and ceiling. I wouldn't feed my dog in that place.
