Wow.
My son scheduled his senior photo shoot himself and David guided him through the whole process. The result: great natural photos - so many exceptional options, we had a hard time choosing.
Fast service - because my son waited so long we were close to the yearbook deadline. David got it for us by the deadline.
Price - I was nervous as I'd heard how pricey senior pictures can be. David came in well below what many of my son's classmates paid.
We will be going back to David for the next round of senior photos - and may even schedule a long overdue family photo - won't my family be surprised to find one in their Christmas cards!
Kudos to David Kantz Photography for an exceptional experience!

Hi,
I used David Kantz Photography to take my son's senior high school pictures. He did a wonderful job. I have downloaded one of the pictures he took which I particularly like--this is the one I sent in for his yearbook picture.

Mr. Kantz was kind, courteous, professional and, most importantly, a highly experienced, competent photographer who is very particular about his work--and it shows in his pictures. A friend of mine, who used Mr. Kantz for her wedding, referred me to him. She was extremely pleased with the work he did and never encountered any problem whatsoever with Mr. Kantz. I would highly recommend him to do any type of photography you may need be it for a wedding, high school pictures or pictures for a reunion. I feel very confident in saying for myself and my friend that I would not only recommmend Mr. Kantz but I would definitely use him for any future event where I need a photographer--he is that good!!!

Keep looking. David Kantz is wonderful up until the day of the event. Then he was professional. And then he was hard to get a hold of (he had our money, we had no photos). Which was discouraging. When we finally got through picking pictures and filling in his forms we were told his pricing had changed ... we were expected to pay more for our wedding album (we have a signed paid contract for an 18 sided album), but he changed his format and expects us to pay for a 24 sided album. He will not return phone calls to set up an appointment to meet with us to discuss. And we also can not get any copies of our pictures until we pay to upgrade his proofs to digital (another fee not in our contract; in fact he did not have digital capabilities when we asked about that as an option). Also sizes are limited, photos are not anything worth this kind of headache ... but unfortunately they are our wedding photos and it would have been nice to be able to send copies to family ... but we can't even get ahold of Mr. Kantz, let alone work through the contract or 'additional fees'.


Wow. So to be fair, Mr. Kantz worked through all outstading 'issues' and was willing to meet shortly after the original review was posted. To his credit the album was beautiful. However, for the last I don't how many months he has been calling asking for this review to be removed. The purpose of review is to offer an opinion for other readers -- (I read Yahoo's note -- comment like telling a story to a friend). I don't appreciate being hounded to take down a review of my experiences. Mr. Kantz, Maybe you could call your other customers 4 times a week until they write wonderful reviews to balance this posting of my experience.
