Oakmont Bakery

If I could give this zero stars I would. I'm visiting from out of town- my Dad and I went into this bakery and it was packed! We took a number (about 40 people back) and proceeded to look around. We decided on a coffee cake that was on a free standing table figuring we didn't want to wait in the horrendous line. We went up to the register to check out and the girl asked us if we had a number. We said yes but we didn't need anything behind the counter- we just wanted to purchase the cake. They said sorry you have to wait for your number to be called....uhhhhhh seriously? Honestly I thought they were kiddding. We were like really "we just want to purchase this coffee cake"...then a very rude woman (I wish I knew her name) chimed in with her opinion about waiting our turn. She didn't even have the bravery to say it to our faces. She said it and walked away. Unbelievable- this place is a joke. Needless to say we walked out. My parents will never be returning there. And on a sidenote: we received a cookie tray from here for christmas as a gift- the cookies were worse than the service.

This is the best bakery i've ever been in. It is a beautiful bakery with amazing products and the employees are so nice and friendly. I've met the family that owns it and works there every day, they show a great amount of care for their company! Even on holidays when the bakery is packed they can get you in and out of there in less than 10 minutes sometimes. It is amazing! Highly highly recommended.

Employees are very rude and unfriendly. They never smile and always seem miserable and bothered. I go here all the time, but won't anymore. The last time I was there, one of the employees made a rude comment to me.
