About:Patrons will feel like they stepped into an English pub when they go to Piper's Pub. The wood paneling provides the perfect atmosphere for the English music and brews. Occasionally, bands perform here. Typical pub sandwiches and snacks are served throughout the day. The best thing about this pub is that it provides a quiet place to chat with friends. Piper's Pub is definitely one of our favorite, if not our favorite, place to eat! Their Shepard's Pie and Guinness Stew are to die for. Sunday brunches are great. Don't miss the Scotch eggs and be sure to try the Ploughman's Platter with samples of different cheeses. Prices are good. My only other advice is to not to be there during a soccer match. It tends to get a little nuts!

Great Britain in Pittsburgh: This is a top 3 restaurant in Pittsburgh, easily. They have your typical english, irish, scottish foods like bangers, rashers, scotch eggs, corn beef and cabbage, fish and chips, etc. However, you can also get a great Guiness Stew, portebella stack, chicken medallions in Jameson gravy, etc. You can tell I have been here a lot and love many of the foods here. Great big beer and scotch menus as well. Warning, this food is heavy and can make you full. Don't overeat or you will be in pain. Also, I consider this winter food. I had a first date here with the girl that I married.

Piper's is delicious.: With so many places to choose from on East Carson, this is one of the best choices. If you're a beer person, they have a million taps. A giant shelf of Irish whiskeys too. Not to mention reasonably priced meals- and an awesome sunday hangover brunch menu! The sexy staff will charm you too. Finally, if you're into soccer, this is the place to watch the game.
