    Although the food is very good here, my last visit left a lasting impression that I cannot forget. We were assigned to a very nice table with a seasoned waiter. Shortly after he was replaced by another waitress because evidently some VIP came in that was, I guess, more important than our party. The replacement was not aware of many things and we were appalled by the change. Will not return for a long time.

    Excellent: La Tavola is the reason that the Olive Garden upsets me so much.

    In Pittsburgh there are so many wonderful Italian Family places, and La Tavola is the best.

    The signature pasta dishes are unbelievable. the environment is great... all around a wonderful place to eat with your friends and family.

    La Tavola: La Tavola is THE best Italian Restaurant in the Pittsburgh area and one of our favorite restaurants in the world. It is a family owned restaurant and by the time you leave, you will be made to feel like family. You can bring your own bottles so come with your favorite bottle of wine and prepare to feast on some of the best Italian, real Italian, on the East Coast.
