    I stopped at the Hot Dog Shop Yesterday and loved the hot dog and those wonderful fries. The Dog had a snap to it and wasnt greasy like so many are. The fries tasted like....FRIES!!! So refreshing after eating those processed paper strips at most restauants.

    This is a restaurant that I will never patronize again. The hot dogs were rubbery, the chili is from a can and so is the cheese. The fries were passable. The place was filthy!!!! If you had to use the restroom you might as well be outside using a port-a-john. The stench alone was appalling!!! Apparently the owners don't have any pride in there establishment nor do they believe in cleanliness. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. How they made it on TV is unbelievable to me. WARNING!!! WARNING!!! STAY AWAY.. VERY FAR AWAY!!!!!!

    If your not a college student you will not understand the true meaning of the dirty O! The O even at 1:30 am is an amazing place to visit. The fries are excellent so what if they are covered in fatty oil the O doesn't pride its self on being a 5 star diner. The O is the heart of Oakland and a must visit at least once in your life. The staff won't wait on you like a mindless zombie the atmosphere however is something you will remember all your life. Im a local and there is nothing better than a grilled hotdog and some fries with some friends, after catching a show or after a party.
