User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best foo-youngs in Pittsburgh for sure and amongst the best that I have had anywhere in the USA. A delightful place right in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. I have lived in many parts if the world and many cities in the USA - I have never frequented any restaurant as I have the Chinatown Inn.

There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh,
but none have better food that this place. I have
dined here for over forty years and I can recommend
this place highly. The menu is large and varied and
pricing is normal. I highly recommend the Jumbo
Eggroll and the Special Won Ton Soup. These are a
meal in themselves. The Fung Mei Har are giant
shrimp wrapped in bacon and cooked in a sweet & sour
sauce. Truly outstanding!!! There are no bad
choices. You can be adventurous or try basic Chop
Suey. You can't make a mistake. There is a small
parking lot on the side of the building as well as
some on street parking. This is the best Chinese
food east of San Francisco's Chinatown. Enjoy.
