About:	Since it was founded in 1983, this non-profit organization has become a musical training ground for future performers. The Children's Festival Chorus gathers 130 children from 50 school districts to perform with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. The children also perform with the Civic Light Opera and the Mendelssohn Choir. The children perform a variety of music from classical operas to contemporary pop songs. The concerts are held throughout western Pennsylvania, and times and ticket prices vary based on the event.
