User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved this place! This little soul food nook was just wonderful. I see other users might have had problems with their platters, but my family and I enjoyed everything we purchased. The fried chicken was "fresh from the fryer" hot and crispy, the yams were delicious, and the string beans were melt-in-your-mouth tasty (especially with the onions, red peppers, and potatoes). As a matter of fact, my family used them as our caterers when I hosted my senior art exhibit in college. Jose and his family have an excellent establishment.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFood is good: Food is good, you get alot for your money. Service is good and fast. Calling ahead makes it easy when you want home cooking in a short period of time.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starspoor: Nothing was fresh, especially not the greens. Yams were awful over cooked and mushy. Beans were dry not a lot of juice or flavor.
