The Best Thing to Do in Pittsburgh: This is my favorite place in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend this gallery to locals and to tourists. They consistently have some of the most interesting exhibits I've ever seen, all of them rather thought provoking and cutting edge. Most often the exhibits here are either installations or photography.
They also have a great location downtown, so it's easy to fit the gallery into a day outing.
Pittsburgh as a whole has a great art scene, and Wood Street Galleries are definitely top of the pack.
