About:For several years, chef Christos Malacrinos cooked traditional Grecian cuisine for Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis onboard the yacht, Christina . These days Malacrinos is serving the same dishes at his downtown restaurant. Diners favor the Moussaka, Spanakopita and lamb kabobs. Make sure you save room for Christos' special dessert, ekmek . The dessert, which was created for Onassis, is a white cake topped with honey, custard, cinnamon and whipped cream.

LOVED IT! Pleasantly surprised since we just stumbled upon it before heading down to the Regatta. Very authentic feel and taste. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We ate here last week before a show downtown. What an unexpected surprise. We were just looking for a quick bite and ended up with the best meal we've had in a long time. It has an old decor, but quaint and charming. We arrived at 6, but by 6:30, all tables had been taken. The spanikopita was good, but I liked by husband's chicken kebabs even better. The salad was excellent. We will definitely be back.

I've been a customer at the restaraunt for about two years now and it never ceases to amaze me at how great the food is here. The service is always wonderful and love to chat with you. It certainly goes beyond the typical waiting staff at chain restaraunts. The salad has always been good especially with lamb and feta on top. I took my family here once as well and they were very pleased with the variety of dishes they ordered as well. On top of the great food, their home-made wine is a wonder as well. My taste buds never felt more alive with the white wine I ordered. To top everything off, the Onassis cake is the greatest dessert I've ever had in my entire life. It is very moist and lite that one cannot help but love. I traditionally can only handle so much cake, but this I could eat forever. If you ever are in town, you must attend.
