| About: | Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation. |

I am not totally disappointed with Pittsburg's Morton but overall I think it could (and should) do a lot better when compared to the over-the-top prices that are charged.
Our steaks were very over seasoned... to, too much salt; which makes one think "what are they trying to cover up".... and I sincerely doubt they were USDA Prime quality and certainly not "aged, four to six weeks" Com'on guys get a grip
There was too much "grey line" to say the steak was cooked correctly.
Lots of "show" but very little "go" at nearly $100 a person
Great dining experience. Much more intimate than the Ruth's Chris in Pittsburgh...although I've found much better Ruth's Chris in other cities. The service was wonderful as was the cuisine. You get what you pay for...and this was worth the check.
EXCELLENT! Everything from the valet, to the tuxedo clad maitre d', to the final bite was perfect. The steak could be cut with a fork. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but not overwhelming. Our server was attentive and efficient.
The price is on the high end, but you get what you pay for. Morton's delivered the highest quality.
