Imagines Restrauant....what a great NEW place to dine (no chain store here) ....
The FOOD is a culinary delight !!! They offer something to please everyone....
The OWNERS are great down to earth people....PATY... who over sees the DINNING ROOM & BAR AREA (which includes a list of SPECIALITY HOUSE WINES) creates a dinning experience (you just have to see how extensive they decorated for this holiday season !!!!) wanting you to return again & again...
To CHEFF JEFF... who creates EXQUSITE MEALS to please any discerning palate...
The lunch menu is great with the HAMBURGER (huge) & CHICKEN WINGS topping my list of favorites...
Dinner menu ( which includes a list of weekly specials) is so extensive, I have a hard time deciding what I want to order...(Guess that's why I have dined there almost every week since July of 2007) but I recommend anything that is associated with CRABMEAT (no fillers)....to the SURF & TURF (so sweet), to the weekend special... PRIME RIB (so huge & tasty) yum....Prices are very reasonable (almost to inexpensive) for the serving sizes....Dinner includes SOUP (always WEDDING SOUP & a SPECIAL SOUP OF THE DAY) & SALAD (w/at least 6 different dressings) & HOMEMADE ITALIAN BREAD & GOO BUTTER (A house speciality) & a LARGE ENTREE including POTATOE & VEGATABLE of the day....And make sure you leave room (or better yet, take home ) for one of the many DESSERTS that IMAGINES has in a case that's right in the front entrance...
IMAGINES can accommondate any party size...from an intimate dinner for 2 ...to a banquet facility for 100 guests...I suggest calling to make a reservation to be seated at the time of your choosing...
A GIFT CARD from IMAGINES in on the top of my Christmas wish list !!!
Happy dinning at one of Pittsburgh's FINEST RESTRAUNTS.....
