User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsClearly...The person known as "food critic" is used to eating at Kings or Eat n Park. Probably sat at their table for 3 hours and drank coffee while others were waiting to sit down. Angelos is a restaurant not a banquet hall...I eat there frequently and have had several business functions there...great food, great service, great management!

Although the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, they cannot handle large parties and have very poor management. Their private room that you can reserve is a separate area for all large parties; not private at all. For a birthday celebration, we were told to have them make a cake because we would be charged for bringing one in, but then they did not make it. Also, be sure to ask if there is a time limit to how long your party can stay. We were not told that large parties had to be out in a certain amount of time, but realized that we had "overstayed our visit" when I guess what you would call the manager walked through about three times to give us the evil eye while also sending in additional waiters and hostesses to clean up and tell us that others are waiting for us to leave. The appetizers and desserts were very tasty but the meals were mediocre. It might be a decent place to stop if you are in Washington but my family, friends, and I would not recommend planning to dine there.
