What a coincidence that I was there that very night to celebrate with the "birthday girl" because I had good reason to be there. My son Ryan is the bass player in the band that played there that night. They are known as "Lady and the Tramps" and they are great in my opinion, as is the Riviera. We have had a few fun nights dancing by the river there. She is right, the food is real good, the wait staff is great and we all love to come there with the band. We are looking forward to coming back this summer.

What a Great Hidden Treasure!: It was going to be a surprize birthday party for a friend of mine turning 30, but it turned out to be a surprise for all of us... as i am heading down to this place i kept thinking...wow this is in the middle of no where...but then we came upon it....not much to say at first, we came to hear a band that i thought the birthday girl might like...i precalled for reservations and they had a picnic table saved outside for us, NICE! it was over looking the river with a fire pit next to the table, the owner came up and asked where we were from and what was the occasion (we decorated the picnic table with balloons and glow sticks)...i told him what was up and he bought the bithday girl a drink and us a round of shots! then his assistant, daughter, did the same! we ordered some food that was at a VERY reasonable price and there was plenty of it and the food was delicious! just like an outdoor picnic with a deep fryer to boot lol! the band set up and dedicated a song to the birthday girl and we danced barefoot in the grass by our table all night under the stars...the drinks were great and the bartender could mix a mean sex on the beach...the staff was amazing and met our needs to the 'enth degree...they lit a bonfire and everyone sang along with the band...what a place! i can't wait to go back....you never know what's lying around the bend of your own county! if you ever have a chance to stop by this place tell the owner John about this comment and please add your own....i am sure he would appreciate it.... Thanks, John for a great dinner and evening! You and your staff, and all the locals, made it a GREAT night for all of us!
