The headkeeper used to be the original dive bar. Totally remade by one of the area's top Chefs. Famous for their huge craft beer selection with I would guess as over 300 fine examples of every type and style of beer you can think of. You pick your beer from the 30ft long cooler wall and take it to your table to be opened and added to your tab. The menu is the chic Tapas style with most items in the $8-14 range. However everything is ala carte, and ordered seperately. Plan on spending $20 on food and $20 worth of beer. The menu has something for everyone with calamari being a really special taste. I always order the salmon, the sauce is WOW!. The outdoor patio is open in good weather and the last time I was there it was packed. The cooking area is right behind the bar and the flames are always flying, you can watch your meal being prepared if you sit at the bar. The staff hustles on every order, and is always friendly but moving on to the next customer. If you want to engage a bartender in casual conversation this is not the place, it is just too busy. Parking can be an issue, they have their own lot but it fills up quickly. Most have to park across Main street and crossing can be dangerous. The only detraction is the cooking hood made to catch cooking odors, close up it smells wonderful, but they have tables upstairs and that smoke would bother me for sure. Decor? Don't look for it, the entire interior is painted black. The Headkeeper is a must visit, even if it is just for a great Scottish Ale.

Bar Closed- 6 pack selection awsome: Due to lack of intrest by the owners, the bar was shut down and sold. However the new owner has keep the 6 -pack shop open and it has the most expansive selection of beer in the area.... If you like imports check this place out!!!!! Jon and Jason are great
