Sunset Cafe

The Sunset Cafe is one of the better Italian Restaurants in the area. It offers a fine variety of Italian dishes at a reasonable price. However, I would not order pizza in most Italian Restauants, including the Sunset Cafe. Shops that specialize in pizzas usually offer a better quality pizza than an Italian restaurant that specializes in pastas and veal dishes.

I agree with the last review I just moved to the area and was told that Sunset Cafe had the best pizza. I think they meant the worst pizza! I had frozen pizza that was better then that. Over cooked cardboard was more like it. The sauce was from a can and the crust was old or just bad. There where only a few people in the place and it took 45 minute for my pizza. I will never go back and I tell everyone that it was the worst pizza in town.

I have been a regular at the Sunset for many years. Lately the food has been unpredicatable and not very good. The spaghetti has been, most times, cool when brought to the table and the sauce has had an odd taste. The pizza which was one of my favorites now has sauce that tastes like Chef Boy-ardee. It is quite disappointing. Why do you have change a good thing. Your clientele was built on an old recipe, why change it now. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
