The Ligonier Tavern is a big part of the Ligonier culture with its Victorian building on the a corner lot of the main drag in town. The bright colors and rustic antique appeal will drive you right inside to a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere. A new wrap around bar replaced the old bar which is tiny but quaint. They have a "Takers" menu that offers take home, home-cooked dinners that are reasonablly priced and delicious! The Ligonier Tavern menu is has a variety of unique dishes that cost a bit more, but worth it for an up-scale menu. The antique feel travels upstairs to two smaller banquet rooms and an outdoor balcony which can be enjoyed during the summer months. The third floor offers a larger private banquet room with a fully stocked bar and beautiful high ceilings that show off the rustic wood beams. They have added an outdoor covered roof-top area to which they hold concerts and other activites during the summer months. This is also opened for Fort Ligonier DAys in October. With many bands and activities, the Ligonier Tavern boasts a wide variety of options for dining.
great food/worth the bucks: been twice - once last year, and a couple days ago. good wine selection, and very good specials. Little pricey but worth the bucks
Nice atmosphere: I really like their pizza and the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. the food is alittle bit overpriced but still very good. They also have a bar area that serves pretty good drinks.
