User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe took my aunt and uncle for his 87th birthday. The food was excellent (they each had a veal special with sausage, peppers and onions) I had veal marsala (excellent), my husband had a seafood gumbo special and my mother had Virginia Spots and said they were the best she's ever had. No one left hungry - there was just the right amount of food-- salads and bread were excellent. The desserts were nothing special. The service started out great but as it got busier, we ended up waiting 25 minutes for the waitress to bring the check. Our total, including 2 beers and 3 desserts was $180 (with tip).

Owner / Chef needs to stay in the kitchen and not selectively visit tables and ingnore others. I was entertaining clients and it was very uncomfortble to be snubbed the the cook in a two star dive.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNew Stanton's finest: Any time we want to truly enjoy a good Italian meal or a superb steak, we head to La Tavola Ristorante. Not only is their food superb, but their choice of wines is equally as fine. I would suggest them without any hesitation. Great food, great service, fit pricing...it all makes for a great fine dining experience in an area that has more take-out restaurants than it does people!
