Not the Best Place but Good Enough: I have lied here for 9 years now, I like the location for proximity of downtown busninesses as needed. There is a grocery store near town, you don't find that very oftern.
The aptartments are small but not too small, they have 2 closets with shelves and a storage closet. The mix of senior citizens and youger handicapped folks such as myself isn't really that great, especially when you run into those that have a grudge against the complex for not making it a seniors only building. Those folks probably thought that it would be seniors only because it is across the street from the seior center and the community center. If they had the chane to see the lease before moving in, they would not have done so. Some of the older folks won't speak to the younger ones when they are spoken to because of this. Some just don't have good hearing anymore and don't hea you speaking to them.
There are no social events planned other than church functions, no group outings, ice cream parties in the summers, and no gatherings for fun. There are tennent meetings once in awhile, inspections, fire safety evacutions, and lawn care.
There is an abundance overly nosy neighbors as well as some matchmaker wantabes. There are some neighbors that are so angry at their situations that they'll take it out on their fellow neighbors.
It's a nice place if you don't let the small staff bother you.
