Well I guess someone dose read this stuff, cause they deleted my poor review. Sorry sal but your food stinks, but you wouldn't know that cause you can't read. So I had veal and I paid like 16,99, the wedding soup was so thin that I should have asked for another straw so I could drink it. Yeah that thin. My wife had a salad, talk about small and real real short on the toppings, like 2 olives and less than a spinkal of cheese. Anyways the veal gets there and it a patty!!!! I could get that down the street at blue ridge for 6.99 with salad! And when my wife got her meal the shrimp scampi there was a heaping helping of pasta, with only like 6 shrimp 14.99 yeah right. so she tried it, and there was not taste of white wine at all. Just some garlic mix. She sent it back because it was cold, and with in 2 minutes it was back at the table so, it was microwaved so she didn't eat it. When we spoke to Sal he charged us for the salad 4.99 for the smallest salad i have ever seen. In short save your money and go some place else. Dont give him your hard earned dollars!!!!!!!!!!!

Papa Sals USED TO BE a great place to eat. Then we go last weekend. October 2009. Waitress brought out our Stromboli, it was 1/2 black. It was hard to tap on the crust. Cant believe it was even served, by cook, or waitress. Sent it back. They brought out another. It had a blacked section on crust also. Cut it open and inside was COLD ! Sent it back. Unfortunately, as my daughter really wanted stromboli, we let them bring out the third one. Actually it was the second one that they just re-heated, as it was easy to spot where we had cut it before. Well they got it hot inside, but made it hard outside. We were starving so we ate it. They had the nerve to charge us for all that agravation too ! The cook tried to apologize, but he should have thought about us when he was cooking our meal, not after. The meal sucked and we wont be back. They lost a great cutomer. Sal wasnt there or he would have heard about all of this first hand. Sadly, the waitress seemed suprised that we werent thrilled with our dining experience. GO ELSEWHERE.

Whether we order take out pizza, or eat in, I have never had a bad meal at Papa Sal's. Papa Sal's has a very cozy, homey atmosphere and the waitstaff has always been very friendly. When I order a calzone, I always get it without peperoni and it arrives perfect. The meals are very big portions so come prepared to eat, or to take leftovers home with you. We always are served a basket of warm "rolls" and you can ask for more if you finish those. Their pizza is very good and the toppings are generous. I definitely recommend stopping when you're in the area.
