We stumbled upon this place for the first time last night. We were pleasantly surprised to find it, as it is not on the beaten path. Even though they had just been swamped with a party of 80 for a lady's 100th birthday, the staff and service were wonderful.
The food was another pleasant surprise; nice variety, reasonable prices, very flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Owners Jeff and Trish and our waitress, Melissa, couldn't have been more welcoming, treating us like family, even though it was our first time. This is our new FAVORITE restaurant anywhere in Western Pennsylvania and beyond.
The beauty of the setting just rounded out the wonderful experience. And it was a great value. We will be back OFTEN!

This is a must try restaurant. The Prime Rib is ridiculously good and large. I also suggest the stuffed hot peppers as an app. I'm now a regular and have not found a finer place to eat north of pittsburgh.

As far as the reviews about the staff, they could not be farther from the truth. "Barb" at the front door makes us feel like one of her own. The bartenders are not shy with the bottle.

I think that this restaurant is highly overrated. I had heard about it for awhile. My husband and I recently went for our anniversary and we were both disappointed.
The restaurant is rather lovely, with a relaxing view. The food however was certainly not worth the money.
The staff seemed pleasant for the most part but were not what one would call efficient.
I would not make a trip to dine here again.
