Whenever my wife and I have to go to or through Waterford, we try to time the trip so we can have lunch at the historic Eagle Hotel (Sugar & Spice). Pleasant atmosphere, good food, generous portions, and unbelievable prices. Their deserts look delicious, but we seldom have room left to put it.

We eat not only eat often at this place; we get their takeout even more frequently. Why? Because the food is good, the employees friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. We have also eaten here as members of large parties with reservations several times on weekends. We were told in advance that we would be given a choice from the weekend specials; which afforded several tasty choices. I can understand why; because they are extremely busy due to the great food and atmosphere. If anyone has a bad experience at this establishment I would think they should re-examine their contribution to the dining experience! Good place to eat and take your family.

I love Sugar and Spice! My entire family and I love eating here because of the generous portions and great price! Our family makes it a point to eat at Sugar and Spice especially when the chicken and biscuits are the special. The service may be slow but the food is totally worth it!
