Professional and consistant. Worked with me for several weeks to get my migraine suffering under control. Finally, he decided to try a psychotropic that's used as a profilactic, which tries to keep a migraine from forming. However, if you are under a significant amount of stress, the drug loses it's potency. Still Awesome, though. Thank you Dr. Dukkipati!

I've had very good experiences with this Doctor. :) It did take a lot of patience, though, because I was in a lot of pain with very intense migraine headaches and seizures. I took things out on another (former) Neurologist at this practice, and I actually simply 'resigned' as a patient at this particular practice for seven whole years. When I HAD to return in 2002, due to having had a Grand Mal Seizure (and I had quit taking medicine years before, blaming doctors for my reason for just plain stopping when in actuality if was the side effects of the medicines which was the problem causing me to 'quit' with Neurologist), Dr. Dukkipati didn't even want an explanation for why I wasn't participating in care from any Neurologist. He didn't hold it against me that I had given up on the whole idea of finding the right medicine to control my seizures.

I was still giving him 'attitude' at the point of my 'forced' return to the practice, though, not wanting to try yet another medicine. The very next one we tried, though, seems to have done the trick (cross my fingers X). It's very difficult to not have an attitude and to not want to blame the doctor prescribing the medicine or treatment. At least it was for me. It is great to know that I could 'come back' despite the attitude I had expressed several years earlier (I am guessing that it is described in my file) at the appointment in which I decided to 'resign' from treatment.

Thank you for hanging in there with me and not holding it against me. I definitely appreciate it. You're very definitely a professional, a very good one.

I HAD A VERY POOR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DOCTOR. BEWARE!
I WAS TOLD BACK AND FORTH SEVERAL TIMES THAT I HAVE MS, THEN DON'T HAVE MS. THEN WAS TOLD HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME AND SPENT MORE TIME TELLING ME HOW I WASTED HIS TIME BY MISSING ONE OF MY APPOINTMENTS THEN HE DID ABOUT MY HEALTH. HE ALSO SEEMED TO PREOCCUPIED WITH CLEANING HIS GLASSES TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING, AND I MEAN ANYTHING, TO ME. I GOT A REFERAL TO A NEW NEUROLOGIST QUITE QUICKLY FROM MY FAMILY DOCTOR AND AM ALOT MORE SATISFIED.
